I began going to the gym to lose weight and get in shape. This was a cycle that went on for a long time. My view of my body did not change until I started strength training.

Strength training became a tool to process childhood trauma, failures, and life changes. Strength training allowed me to reconnect with my body and show up for myself in a way that allowed me to learn something new and feel strong along the way. I discovered that I could do hard things, I may have failures but I am not a failure. Strength training aided me in rediscovering who I am, affirming that my body is good and that movement brings me joy.

My hope is that my clients will be able to experience strength training as a tool to healing, rediscovery, and joy. I want my clients to feel seen and welcomed. My desire with Formidable Strength Collective is to create a brave environment where my clients have the opportunity to discover liberation through reclaiming their body trust through strength training.
